NCSSA Members, On March 3rd and 4th the 2012 Northern California Senior Softball Association tournaments will officially start. I would like to take this time to welcome all members and participants to a new season of fun and the competition that we have enjoyed for a number of years. My hope it that each and every one of you have an injury free year. The NCSSA Board of Directors would like for each of us to exhibit good sportsmanship toward others, thus making this possibly the most fun anyone can have doing something they enjoy. I would like to remind the managers of the new procedure for roster changes. Go to the NCSSA website for roster information for submitting rosters and changes. When any roster change requests have been received, there will be a fourteen day waiting period before an official roster is approved. Please keep this in mind if you need to make any changes. I would also like to take this time to thank the men who agreed to be on the Board of Directors for NCSSA. There are three members for each of the five regions that have been established in Northern California. It takes all fifteen members to administer the duties required to have a successful season. If you see a board member that serves you from your region please say hello and thank him for his time, because they are spending a considerable amount of time so we all can enjoy ourselves playing softball. I want to send a huge thank you to Bob “Ruth” Strand for being webmaster to the best softball website in the country. There is no way we could ever be where we are today without Bob. Everyone that plays NCSSA softball has benefited from the enormous hours he has spent maintaining a website that we depend on all season long. Good luck, Ron McElyea President, NCSSA Board of Directors ♦ So far, 107 teams have registered for 2012. They can be seen at NCSSA Rosters. |
